REFUNDS & RETURNS

Here at Gadget City, we realize it is quite the challenge to work with countless manufacturers and ensure that products arrive as described and undamaged 100% of the time. We also know that not every manufacturer operates the same, and even though we have a rigorous vetting process, at the end of the day things don’t always go as planned all the time.

This is why we created our 100% Full Buyer Protection Guarantee, so you can rest easy in knowing you’re covered by us, because we value every Gadget City-Zen. If you are having any issues with your final product, please drop us an email at support@gogadgetcity.com with as detailed of information as possible and please also make sure that you adhere and are eligible for our policies below in order to receive full Buyer Protection. We do not deal with trolls, liars, and people who “game the system for free stuff”, so please be warned of this in advance!

SECURE PAYMENT

Your payment is always secure. We use the latest SSL encryption technology to ensure that your information is always safe with us. We do not store any payment data on our website, such as credit card numbers and things of that nature. We also do not sell or trade your information to third parties. Finally, we work with only secure payment providers such as PayPal and major payment processors, in order to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible.

 

REFUNDS AND RETURNS

Due to the nature of our business model and all the different suppliers and manufacturers we work with, we only allow refunds and returns at which the manufacturer or shipping companies are found at fault for the discrepancy, such as damaged goods, wrong product shipped, etc.… We realize everybody makes mistakes, including our manufacturers, and so we will do all that we can to work with you to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible.

If the product is damaged or the manufacturer sends the wrong product:

If the product is different, then you will be entitled for a full refund, in addition to possibly being entitled to keep the extra goods, however each situation is handled on a case by case basis. The items must be returned in their original condition received and unused in order to qualify for a full refund through a return. Please take photos of the product so we can get a head start on processing and ship the item back to us. Your shipping costs will be covered if you provide receipt proof through an image, and refunded through the original payment processor you made the payment with, free of charge. Each situation is handled on a case by case basis and is subject to verification that these items were not dishonestly damaged. Please note that by “damaged product”, this does not include the packaging. The packaging may arrive damaged due to international shipping and logistics, and although reinforced packaging is used, the box may arrive damaged so only the product itself is eligible.

 

If the product does not arrive or is lost during the shipping process:

You will get a full refund if the product does not arrive. The tracking status on your tracking information should say “lost” or “failed”. Please note that you may need to allow time for the tracking systems to update, as we ship across multiple borders on an economical budget. The tracking has to say “lost” or “failed” in order to qualify… and some items in different locations take longer than others to arrive, depending on the country’s customs process. Please allow a few days for tracking information to update, as it is not instantaneous.

  

If the product is on its way but you still want to receive a refund:

Once your order has been processed with the manufacturer and shipped out by them, in most cases it is extremely difficult for us to intercept the order. If the order is intercepted successfully, restocking fees may apply. We will not issue a full refund in this circumstance, but we may consider a partial refund if you can contact us as quickly as possible, because once you ship an item it is not easy to get it “unshipped” without having to send it back the other way. But if the tracking status is changed to “lost” or “failed”, we will issue a full refund regardless.

 

If the product arrived as described but you still want to return it:

Unfortunately, this is not covered under our buyer protection guarantee. We cannot issue refunds and returns for everything, due to the paper thin low margins on our business model, which lets the customer reap most of the savings in the end. There is no “try before you buy” policy here, as you have to keep in mind that we are using multiple shipping centers and usually ship internationally free of charge.

 

Do you allow refunds or returns on custom made items:

We do not allow refunds or returns on custom made items, unfortunately, due to the nature of this business, unless the product is the wrong product. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

 

 

 

GENUINE PRODUCT GUARANTEED

As described above, we have an extremely vigorous vetting process for each manufacturer and shipper we work with. However, sometimes things don’t always go as planned. If your product falls under this category, please take an image of the product and send it to our support email, as these situations are handled on a case by case basis. Most of the time, the products are simply white labeled meaning the middleman / brand name branding has been cut out, and it will be the brand described on that particular listing, which does not apply to this guarantee. Therefore, if the product is found to be truly inauthentic and not genuine and you received counterfeit goods, you will receive a full or a partial refund in addition to being able to keep the item.

 

 

 

SAFE PACKAGING & UNDAMAGED PRODUCT

We thoroughly vet all manufacturers before working with them, and part of that process includes reviewing their shipping processes. We do our best to ensure that they package products for international shipping as best as possible, including multiple layers or bubble wrap… while at the same time being as light as possible in order to cut down shipping costs to be able to offer our customers free shipping. If the product arrives damaged, please see our policy above for damaged products. Please note that this does not include the box – as the box may arrive damaged due to the nature of shipping, but all shipping processes are like that, even if we declare it as delicate. This is the nature of international shipping, and we will do our best to only work with manufacturers who package everything nicely.

 

 

 

 

 

FRAUD

NOTICE: We are committed to the prevention and prosecution of online credit card fraud! We have absolutely ZERO tolerance for fraudsters!

Conviction on Credit Card Fraud Carries Penalties of 10 Years Imprisonment and/or a $10,000 Fine!

U.S.C. Title 18, Section 3056, Subsection (b), specifically authorizes the United States Secret Service to detect and arrest any person who violates federal criminal laws relating to credit card fraud and related activity in connection with computers and/or access devices.

Some of our prevention measures may include:

Reporting all fraudulent and charge back purchases to the Secret Service.

Contacting law enforcement officials in your state.

Issuing a summons through our attorney to your ISP. We've done it numerous times and have never been turned down.

Cardholder address and telephone number verification.

IP number tracking and verification.

Verification of a valid, commercial e-mail address.

Requirement of signed authorizations.

Examination of all orders for fraud indicators.

Other unpublished actions as deemed necessary.

If you make a charge and then refuse or enact a fraudulent charge-back, we will pursue you.

We reserve the right to cancel orders which cannot be verified. We regret that, in some cases, these measures may result in inconvenience to legitimate customers.

In the rare event that a fraudulent order passes our screening process, we will report the fraud to the appropriate legal authorities and provide those authorities with the necessary information to complete an arrest and effective prosecution. We will report the fraud to your Internet Service Provider for action under their Acceptable Use Policies. We may also initiate civil action against you.
